What to do with Josh Jacobs in Week 4 fantasy football

Even with a tough game against the Bills, it’s hard to justify sitting Jacobs.

After three weeks of play, Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has emerged as one of the most productive players at his position in the NFL. He’s also become a must-start player in fantasy football, and even with a more difficult matchup against the Buffalo Bills this week, he still belongs in lineups.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders RB Josh Jacobs

Jacobs started the season with a bang, rushing for 93 yards and three touchdowns against the Panthers. Overall, he’s got 252 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and another 75 receiving yards for good measure. In last week’s game against the Patriots, Jacobs had his workload curtailed a bit, getting just 16 carries and 19 total touches after topping 30 touches in his first two games. That was mostly due to the fact that the Raiders weren’t able to run the ball much with the Patriots sitting on a 13-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

This week’s game against the Bills is another tough one, but it figures to be a high-scoring affair. Buffalo’s defense has allowed a running back to find the end zone in each of its three games this season, and Darrell Henderson of the Rams was able to top the 100-yard mark last week. This isn’t the best matchup for Jacobs, but it’s not so difficult that you can justify sitting him this week.
