What to do with Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard in Week 4 fantasy football

After a difficult game in Week 3, the Cowboys backfield has the chance to put up better numbers against the Browns.

The Dallas Cowboys have a chance to even their record this week with a home game against the Cleveland Browns. If they’re going to notch their second win of the season, they’ll need to lean on running back Ezekiel Elliott to do so, which makes him a good play in fantasy football this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott

Elliott obviously dominates playing time in the Dallas backfield; he was out there for 98 percent of the team’s offensive snaps last week. Unfortunately for his fantasy owners, he didn’t do much with those snaps last week in a loss to the Seahawks. He finished that game with just 34 rushing yards on 14 carries and another 24 receiving yards. His day wasn’t a total wash though thanks to a touchdown. But it was a long way from the kind of numbers he was putting up in the first two weeks of the season.

Things should improve this week against the Browns. Cleveland is middle of the road against running backs in fantasy football, and the Browns have allowed three rushing touchdowns this year so far.

Tony Pollard doesn’t get enough work to merit consideration as long as Elliott is healthy.
