Greg Olsen is a familiar face in a new place. After a successful spell with the Carolina Panthers, the long serving tight end joined the Seattle Seahawks this off season. The results have been mixed.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks TE Greg Olsen
Olsen’s targets and receptions have been varied, from an initial four receptions, 24 yards and a TD to putting up a goose egg across the board in Week 2 vs. New England. Week 3 saw a return to about what you can expect from the veteran at five receptions and 61 yards. In Miami, you find a defense that has given up 12.2 yards per reception and could be susceptible to longer yardage plays. Olsen should produce similar if not better numbers we saw in week 3 because of Miami’s defensive standing in the lower third in total defense in the NFL.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
For season long fantasy he warrants a start given the opposition. Even in DFS he should get consideration as a high upside TE1 because of the match up.
