Game status: Hunt is ACTIVE for Week 4.
Game day update: Hunt is expected to play, according to Ian Rapoport.
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt is officially questionable for this week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Hunt is dealing with a groin injury. He missed practice in the middle of the week, but was able to return to the field on Friday for a limited session. The injury is not believed to be serious enough to keep him off the field for Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Kareem Hunt injury
Even with Nick Chubb, Hunt has played a big role in the Browns run-centric offense. He’s got 39 carries for 204 rushing yards and a touchdown so far this season. Hunt also has an edge over Chubb as a receiver, catching eight passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
This could be a pretty high-scoring affair, given Dallas is mostly powered by its offense right now. That makes it hard to fade Hunt this week, even with injury concerns. It is an early game, giving fantasy owners time to make a last-minute decision, but barring some big change in his status, he’s safe to have in your lineup this week.
