Two of the most confusing teams in all of the National Football League: the 2-1 Cleveland Browns and the 1-2 Dallas Cowboys.
The Browns, after dropping their season opener to the Baltimore Ravens, have now won two straight, beating the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Football Club. The Cowboys, if it wasn’t for a botched onside kick against the Atlanta Falcons, could be winless after losses to the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys and Browns are on the early slate of games, with an 11:00 a.m. ET kickoff.
Despite a losing record, the Cowboys are currently favored by 4.5 points this week, with a total points betting line of 56 points. We’ve got a look at DraftKings Sportsbook betting splits to give us an idea of where the public is at on this divisional matchup.
Browns @ Cowboys betting splits
The begging public thinks the Cowboys are going to win this game, with 83% of the moneyline and 79% of the moneyline handle taking the Cowboys at -225 odds. This is the game that has garnered the fourth-most consistent bets on a single side, with only the Packers, Rams, and Buccaneers showing more confidence from bettors.
While bettors are overwhelmingly picking the Cowboys to win the game, the 4.5 point spread hasn’t scared off many bets either - 81% of bets on the spread and 83% of the spread handle have taken the Cowboys despite giving the Browns 4.5 points.
While bettors believe the Cowboys will beat the Browns decisively, the betting public isn’t sure if this will be a shootout or a low-scoring affair. The over/under line of 56 points is the bet that has created the biggest divide among Cowboys-Browns bettors this week. 62% of the O/U bets, and 63% of the O/U handle have bet both teams will combine to score over 56 points.
The 56-point over/under is the second-highest point total of the week, with only the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football predicted to put up more points.
