2nd quarter update: Evans officially returned to the game.
UPDATE: Evans appears to be on track to return from his injury. The Bucs are on defense, but Evans is running on the sideline and has his helmet on.
Mike Evans just came running out of the tunnel and is jogging on the sideline and trying to cut. He’s got his helmet on. Good sign.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are short-handed at wide receiver, and might be losing a little more depth. Mike Evans was tackled awkwardly in the first quarter of Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers and trainers are looking at his ankle. He has now gone to the locker room to get looked at further.
The Bucs are already without Chris Godwin, and Scott Miller is banged up coming into this game.
Evans tried testing out that ankle on the sidelines, but seems to be in some pain. pic.twitter.com/R4S0kxKfS2
