UPDATE: Carson is being evaluated for a concussion, per The News Tribune’s Greg Bell.

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson took a hard hit and stayed down. He was helped to the sidelines and is now in the medical tent getting evaluated. The first thought by those watching was a concussion, but nothing has been officially announced.

Rookie DeeJay Dallas has come in to replace Carson, while Travis Homer will serve as the receiving back. Carlos Hyde would be the usual backup, but he is out this week with a shoulder injury.
