Houston Texans tight end Jordan Akins took a hit from safety Harrison Smith that ended up knocking both players out for the game. Akins suffered a concussion while Smith was ejected.

Akins had three receptions for 46 yards before being forced from the game. He’s shown good promise early in the season, hopefully he will be able to return in Week 5. While he is out, Darren Fells should see the majority of the tight end snaps.
