Things weren’t looking good for the Miami Heat heading into Game 3 of the NBA Finals vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. Fortunately, a knight in shining armor — aka Jimmy Butler — came along and stole a game from the Lakers on Sunday night. The series is Lakers 2-1 heading into Game 4 on Tuesday and the Heat may get some reinforcements in the form of Bam Adebayo. It’s unlikely Goran Dragic returns. Let’s get you ready for Game 4.
Game Time/TV Channel/Streaming
Game 4 on Tuesday will take place at 9:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on ABC and will be streaming on fuboTV and YouTube TV.
Point Spread, Totals, Odds
Spread: Lakers -7.5
Over/Under: 219.5
Moneyline: Lakers (-305), Heat (+250)
The Best Bet: Heat +7.5 (-114)
After watching Game 3, I have a feeling the Lakers won’t be able to come out on Tuesday and just get back to dominating. Butler won’t allow it and if Bam is able to return, that would be a big boost for the front court. That same front court did a great job neutralizing Anthony Davis in Game 3 and if I’m Erik Spoelstra, that’s the game plan moving forward. If you can stop AD, you can win the series. So even if Miami doesn’t get that win to tie the series in Game 4, I think the game will be competitive. A close loss seems like the worst case. Best case is you catch another Heat win. Just be sure to hedge during the game depending on which way things go.
