The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears are both 3-1 and will duke it out in a Thursday Night Football matchup to kick off Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season. The Tom Brady-led Buccaneers are banged up on offense and will attempt to take down a Bears team that recently benched Mitchell Trubisky for Nick Foles at quarterback.
Brady runs the show for Tampa Bay, but a ton of his key weapons are dealing with injuries. Mike Evans didn’t practice on Wednesday while Scotty Miller was a limited participant. O.J. Howard is out for the year with an Achilles injury and Chris Godwin has been ruled out with a knee injury, so Rob Gronkowski could be heavily featured in this matchup. Leonard Fournette is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury and LeSean McCoy has been ruled out, so Ronald Jones II could could have a busy outing as well.
The Bears aren’t nearly as banged up as the Buccaneers, but struggled with Foles under center in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts. The offense could be heavily reliant on him and Allen Robinson but David Robinson will have to chip in to against Tampa Bay’s tough run defense.
Here are some ESPN PPR points projections to give you an idea of what you can expect from key players on each side.
