The 2020-21 edition of the UEFA Nations League is in full swing, and this weekend has a jam-packed schedule as we enter Match Day 3 of the group stage. Many teams are fighting for promotion while others are doing all they can to avoid relegation. Saturday sees a decent slate with teams from Leagues A, C, and D all in action to kick off the weekend. The bets are rolling in at DraftKings Sportsbook, and I don’t think there are any major surprises with who the public is putting their trust in on Saturday.
Spain v. Switzerland, 2:45PM ET — League A, Group 4
Spain -265: 99% of handle, 97% of bets
Tie +360: 0% of handle, 1% of bets
Switzerland +800: 1% of handle, 2% of bets
There are no surprises here with Spain being the heavily-favored winners in this lopsided contest. Spain is currently riding a 13-game unbeaten streak across all competitions as they sit atop the Group 4 table, earning a 1-1 draw against Germany on the road while easily handling Ukraine with a massive 4-0 scoreline. The Red Fury have only lost once to Switzerland through 20 meetings, notching 15 wins and 4 draws. The Swiss however, at the bottom of the group table and in desperate need of a win, are also coming off a 1-1 draw against Germany and will hope to ride that confidence into this match, handing Spain their first loss in Madrid since 1987. Regardless, I’d put my money on Spain 10 times out of 10 in this matchup.
Ukraine v. Germany, 2:45PM ET — League A, Group 4
Ukraine +1150: 2% of handle, 1% of bets
Tie +510: 1% of handle, 0% of bets
Germany -420: 98% of handle, 99% of bets
Staying in League A Group 4, we have another match that’s even more lopsided than the first. Germany, ranked 13th in the FIFA World Rankings, has run into some struggles in this edition of the Nations League, opening their group stage campaign with back-to-back 1-1 draws with both Spain and Switzerland. The powerhouse side will hope to rectify their situation and grab a commanding win over 24th-ranked Ukraine, who sits 2nd place in the A4 table after opening their group play with a 2-1 win over the Swiss. It won’t necessarily be a walk in the park for the Germans, though, as Joachim Low’s side will have to end Ukraine’s 10-game unbeaten streak at home. Germany has never won in Ukraine, though, as all 3 of their matches they’ve played in Kyiv have ended in draws. While the Germans are heavily favored, don’t sleep on Ukraine as they just might be able to pull off some sort of result this weekend.
With five other games on the docket for Saturday, here are the splits for the rest of the day’s matches.

Faroe Islands +130: 35% of handle, 56% of bets
Tie +190: 1% of handle, 8% of bets
