What to do with Lamar Jackson in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over Lamar Jackson’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Ravens Week 8 matchup against the Steelers.

Lamar Jackson is having a tough time following up his electric fantasy football performance in 2019 but will return from his bye week looking to get a fresh start. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback is set to face off against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Can Jackson bounce back against one of the best run defenses in the NFL?

Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

Jackson hasn’t thrown for more than 200 yards since Week 2 but could have to rely on his arm more than usual against Pittsburgh. The Steelers have given up the least rushing yards (413) in the NFL this season and the third-fewest passing yards. The Ravens rank third in rushing yards and Jackson leads them in rushing yards with 346. Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards both have over 200 rushing yards as well, but Baltimore is more likely to succeed through Jackson scrambling to the outside than running backs going between the tackles.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

I’d only start Jackson if you have no other viable quarterbacks in season-long fantasy and would stay away from him altogether in DFS.
