Another key cog in the Tennessee Titans offense who probably doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves is tight end Jonnu Smith. In six games this season, he’s got 243 yards and an impressive five receiving touchdowns. He leads the team in that category. Smith is also a good player to have in fantasy lineups.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans TE Jonnu Smith
Smith had his worst outing of the season last week against the Steelers. Though he was targeted four times, he managed just one catch for nine yards. That followed a down performance against the Texans the week before, when he posted just 13 yards on a single catch. However, you shouldn’t let those two games fool you. He’s had two games with two touchdowns, and has regularly seen five to eight targets a game this season.
This week’s game against the Bengals is particularly attractive for Smith’s fantasy potential. Cincinnati has given up six touchdowns to tight ends in their last three games, including three last week against the Browns.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Jonnu Smith.
