Good tight end help is hard to find in fantasy football these days. Outside of a few obvious sure things, you’re mostly left to sort through a second tier of hit or miss players. One name to know among that latter group is Los Angele Chargers tight end Hunter Henry.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers TE Hunter Henry

Henry did not have a big game last week against the Jaguars, catching just three passes for 23 yards. However, he was targeted seven times, which is weekly average. The fact that Henry is getting so many looks from his quarterback gives him value. While he did score his first touchdown of the season in Week 5, he hasn’t had more than 50 yards since Week 3. Still, the fact that he gets that many targets on a weekly basis gives him potential.

The Chargers play the Broncos this week, and Denver’s been pretty good against tight ends. In fact, they haven’t allowed an opposing tight end to score since the first week of the season. Even Travis Kelce had just 31 yards against them last week, but that may have had more to do with the Chiefs defense running up the score.
