The Saints Week 8 matchup against the Bears will be a great test for the Saints running backs as they face a tough defense. Both Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray will look to help New Orleans win in tough conditions.

Fantasy Football analysis: Saints RBs Alvin Kamara, Latavius Murray

With Kamara you have an elite running back who is a must start in everyone’s leagues. Last week against a sneaky good Panthers defense he showed great numbers, 14 rushes for 83 yards. With eight targets for 65 yards, he was a TD or two away from a spectacular game. In this cold weather and with a defense that might load the box, Kamara can really play to his catching skills to open up the running game. Either way he can hurt you and if he can get 15-20 carries and 8-12 catches you love those numbers fantasy wise.

A power back, Latavius Murray, is a complementary back to the fullest extent. Rushing for 11 times and 47 yards he should produce similar numbers here. Maybe lower, taking in to context the cold and stout Bears defense.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Kamara, sit Murray.
