What to do with Evan Engram in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over Evan Engram’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Giants Week 8 matchup against the Bucs on Monday Night Football.

It’s tempting to look at New York Giants tight end Evan Engram and his 44 targets and think that maybe he’s a decent streaming option in fantasy this week, especially since it’s so hard to find good help at that spot. But you would be wrong.

Fantasy Football analysis: Giants TE Evan Engram

Engram had a brutal game last week against the Eagles. He helped give the Eagles a pick when he couldn’t nab a throw from Daniel Jones, and then he dropped a pass to kill a critical late drive. He finished the game with nine targets, his second-highest total of the year, but only managed to catch six passes for 46 yards.

His best game was all the way back in a Week 2 showdown with the Bears. He caught six passes for 65 yards, his only outing with more than 45 yards. And he still hasn’t found the end zone. It won’t get any easier this week when the Giants take on the Buccaneers and their league-best defense.
