Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is coming off a big fantasy day in the victory over the New York Giants last weekend and will look to continue his statistical success heading into Sunday night.
So what should fantasy owners do with Wentz heading into the Week 8 slate?
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles QB Carson Wentz
Wentz has had a little extra time to prepare as the Eagles’ last game came last Thursday night. He threw the ball 43 times and completed 25 passes for a season-high 359 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also added a rushing score and finished with 14 yards on seven carries.
Unfortunately for Wentz and the Eagles, DeSean Jackson injured himself again and will be out for potentially two months, and Alshon Jeffery will remain sidelined with a calf injury.
Philadelphia has a fantastic matchup this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys, which are a mess right now. In its most recent time out, Dallas played the Washington Football Team, and Kyle Allen completed 15 of 25 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Despite the injuries at wide receiver, Wentz can be a comfortable start as a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.
