What to do with Ben DiNucci in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over Ben DiNucci’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Cowboys Week 8 matchup against the Eagles.

Welcome to the NFL, Ben DiNucci. Him and his Cowboys face a feisty Eagles defense. As an unknown, what can DiNucci do fantasy wise this week?

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys QB Ben DiNucci

A new quarter back in Dallas as DiNucci takes the reins. The problem will be playing behind a mediocre O-line against an above-average Eagles pass rush. He will have solid receivers to help out, but he looked under duress last week in relief of Andy Dalton facing the Washington Team.

This week he faces an even better defense, and that does not bode well for him. The Eagles defense has a pass rush that can get to you with just four guys, and that is bad for any QB — let alone a rookie 7th rounder. Keeping him limited with short throws and only on to two reads could be his way out, but that translates terribly fantasy wise. He does not have much upside and unless you are desperate, I’d look elsewhere.
