Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders will miss the next game once again, which will continue to lead for more opportunities for Boston Scott in the backfield and potentially more work for Corey Clement.
What should fantasy owners be doing about the Eagles’ running back position? Let’s take a closer look.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RBs Boston Scott, Corey Clement
Sanders missed last week’s game against the New York Giants as he continues to return from a knee injury and in his absence, Scott received plenty of the work. He received 12 carries for 46 yards and also caught three passes for 46 yards with a touchdown. Clement carried the ball just twice for nine yards and had one catch for 12 yards. The Eagles appear to like Scott with the ball in his hands a fair amount more than they do with Clement.
The Eagles’ running game have a fantastic matchup on Sunday with the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas is struggling all over the field including on defense. It is coming off a loss to the Washington Football Team and allowed 128 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown to running back Antonio Gibson.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Scott should definitely be in fantasy lineups this week and is a borderline No. 1 back heading into Sunday. If you own Clement, keep him on the bench.
