Game status: Patrick is INACTIVE for Week 8.
Game day update: The Broncos activated a wide receiver on Saturday, per Ian Rapoport, which suggests Patrick is likely to be inactive this week.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick is listed as questionable on the team’s final Week 8 injury report. However, that seems like a generous classification considering he did not practice all week in the lead up to Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He’s dealing with a hamstring injury.
Fantasy impact: Tim Patrick (hamstring)
Patrick has 354 yards and a pair of touchdowns so far this season, including two games with more than 100 yards in his last three outings. If he can’t play this week, that means Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler would be in line for more looks from quarterback Drew Lock. Jeudy probably makes more sense as a low-end fantasy option. Hamler just doesn’t get enough throws to make him a viable option in any format. In truth, tight end Noah Fant stands to benefit the most from Patrick’s absence. He’s by far Lock’s most trusted option in the passing game.
