Game status: Crowder is INACTIVE for Week 8.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder has a groin injury, and he is officially listed as doubtful on this week’s injury report. Head coach Adam Gase made it sound on Friday that Crowder would most likely not be in the lineup for this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy impact: Name (Injury)
Crowder has been the only consistent fantasy option from the Jets’ woeful offense. He regularly gets double digit targets, and in just four games played so far, he has 383 yards and two touchdowns. He’s gone for triple digit yardage in three of his four games too.
Crowder isn’t the only Jets receiver hurting right now. Breshad Perriman will not play because of a concussion. Rookie Denzel Mims could be an okay option this week, with the Jets likely to be chasing points. He had four catches on seven targets last week, his first game of the season.
