Game status: Harris is ACTIVE for Week 8.
Game day update: Harris is expected to play, according to Ian Rapoport.
New England Patriots running back Damien Harris is officially listed as questionable on this week’s injury report. He has an ankle injury, but he was able to practice all week, albeit in a limited role. Harris is expected to play on Sunday when the travel to Buffalo to face the Bills.
Fantasy impact: Damien Harris (ankle)
New England’s backfield is kind of a mess, certainly for fantasy purposes, much of which has to do with the team’s overall offensive struggles. Harris rushed 10 times for 58 yards last week against the Niners. With Sony Michal out of action, backfield reps are divided between Harris, Rex Burkhead, and James White. Still, quarterback Cam Newton leads the team with 50 rushing attempts, 244 yards, and five touchdowns.
Even with Harris likely to play this week, you can probably leave him out of your fantasy lineup this week, along with the other running backs, especially against the Bills.
