UPDATE: The Lions announced Kenny Golladay will not return to the Week 8 contest.
Detroit Lions receiver Kenny Golladay is questionable to return to Sunday’s Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts with a hip injury. The wideout been Matthew Stafford’s top passing threat in 2020 but didn’t manage be a difference maker against the Colts sturdy pass defense. Golladay was targeted four times before leaving the game in the third quarter and didn’t tally a single catch. Tight end T.J. Hockenson appears to be the Lions’ best aerial threat and has caught six of his nine targets for 55 yards.
Golladay entered Week 8 having notched two straight 100-yard games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. If he doesn’t return this will be the first game this season he’s been held under 4 receptions and 50 receiving yards.
