The Best Bet

Akron covered the spread one time in 2019 and did nothing in its season opener to expect much of a difference for this team this season. The Zips lost their opener in Week 1 by 45 points to a Western Michigan team that wasn’t all that great in the MAC last season. The spread is high, but the Zips lost all 12 games by an average of 25.8 points last season and lost by 49 to Ohio. Continue fading Akron until further notice.

Pick: Ohio -27.5
