The Miami (Ohio) RedHawks will head on the road to take on the Buffalo Bulls in the final MAC game of the night on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from UB Stadium.
Buffalo took advantage of five Northern Illinois turnovers in a 49-30 road win last Wednesday. Offensively, Kyle Vantrease completed 11 of 17 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He found Antonio Nunn six times for 102 yards with one touchdown. Running back Jaret Patterson carried the ball 20 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulls.
Miami took on Ball State at home in what was a back-and-forth game finishing with a 38-31 victory. The other UMiami trailed by 11 in the third quarter, then gave up a 10-point lead in the fourth. Zach Kahn scored a two-yard touchdown with 10 seconds left to give the RedHawks the victory. AJ Mayer took over for an injured Brett Gabbert in the second quarter and completed 16 of 24 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Jack Sorenson finished the game with 139 receiving yards on seven catches.
Miami won the last game in this series at home in 2019 by a score of 34-20.

The Best Bet
It remains unclear which quarterback will suit up for the RedHawks on Tuesday night, but whether it’s a banged up Gabbert or Mayer making his first start, this should favor the Bulls. Buffalo is simply the better team and if it avoids silly early-season mistakes, the Bulls should be able to cover this one at home. I’m a big believer in head coach Lance Leipold, and Buffalo could be the team to beat for years to come in the MAC.
Pick: Buffalo -8
