Thursday injury report

Carlos Hyde and Chris Carson remain out of practice.

Darrell Henderson will play according to coach McVay.

Justin Jackson remains out with knee injury.

Damien Harris is limited again and appears on track to play.

Kenyan Drake continues to be limited. We’ll see if that’s good enough for him to return this week.

Mark Ingram didn’t practice Thurday after practicing Wednesday, so he’s likely out again.

David Montgomery was out with a concussion, but does play Monday, so has a little more time to be cleared.

Miles Sanders practices in full. He should play.

Nick Chubb practices without knee brace.

Joe Mixon still not practicing.

Antonio Gibson returns from DNP to a full practice.

Devonta Freeman left practice Thursday. He likely will be out again.

DNP: David Johnson (concussion), Devine Ozigbo (hamstring), Mark Ingram (ankle), Joe Mixon (foot), Tevin Coleman (knee), Chris Carson (foot), Carlos Hyde (hamstring), Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), David Montgomery (concussion), Justin Jackson (knee)

Wednesday injury report

Christian McCaffrey is out with a shoulder injury. Mike Davis will return to the starting lineup.

Nick Chubb is close to returning this week, but we won’t know his true status until Friday.

David Johnson is still in concussion protocol, which could give Duke Johnson the start this week.

Kenyan Drake returned to a limited practice, which puts him on track to return against the Bills.

Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde both were out Wednesday. Coach Pete Carroll did say that they will practice this week, so we will wait.

Miles Sanders was limited coming off the bye. He has a good chance of suiting up against the Giants this week.

Mark Ingram was limited on Wednesday. He has a shot at returning to play the Patriots.

Matt Breida was limited in practice, giving him a chance to return this week against the Chargers.

Darrell Henderson didn’t practice coming off the bye. He he’ll need to return soon to hold off Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers.

Raheem Mostert won’t play this week, as he hasn’t been designated to return from I.R.

Damien Harris was limited, which is a good sign after leaving Monday night’s game.

Aaron Jones practiced in full and should be good to go against the Jaguars.

Joe Mixon worked on the side Wednesday. He’ll need to get some real practice reps in before he can return.

Antonio Gibson didn’t practice with a shoulder injury. He’ll need to practice before getting a full workload against the Lions.

DNP: Taiwan Jones (hamstring), Joe Mixon (foot), David Johnson (concussion), Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Antonio Gibson (shoulder), Chris Carson (foot), Carlos Hyde (hamstring), Justin Jackson (knee)
Limited: Mark Ingram (ankle), Kenyan Drake (ankle), Matt Breida (hamstring), Devonta Freeman (ankle), Reggie Bonnafon (ankle), Miles Sanders (knee)
Full: T.J. Yeldon (back), Samaje Perine (knee), Tyler Ervin (wrist), Aaron Jones (calf), Patrick Laird (ankle)

Week 9 brought us another huge game from Dalvin Cook, as he hit 252 yards and two touchdowns. That finish wasn’t quite as good as Week 8, but it will do. Cook has a commanding lead in the touchdown race, but Alvin Kamara still has him beat for overall PPR fantasy points due to Cook’s missed game.

Christian McCaffrey returned with a vengeance, scoring twice, catching 10 passes and totaling 151 yards. Unfortunately he picked up a new injury. Thankfully it isn’t long term, but he could be iffy this week against the Buccaneers.

Injury news

Christian McCaffrey has a shoulder injury and is day-to-day. Mike Davis would return to the lead role if CMC has to sit this week.

Justin Jackson hurt his knee early last week and saw no touches. Coach Anthony Lynn said he probably could have returned if needed, so he has a chance to play against the Dolphins.

Damien Harris has a chest injury that forced him from the Jets game on MNF. If he can’t go against the Ravens this week, Sony Michel may get the lead role, as he’s close to returning.

Carlos Hyde and Chris Carson should be able to practice this week and have a chance to play against the Rams.

Nick Chubb is trending in the right direction to return this week against the Texans in a good matchup.

Kenyan Drake is still considered day-to-day. Chase Edmonds would get the start against the Bills if Drake can’t return.

David Montgomery is in the concussion protocol. The Bears only have Cordarrelle Patterson, Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce behind Montgomery.

Week 10 byes

Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets

Todd Gurley, Ezekiel Elliott, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Le’Veon Bell won’t be available.

Streaming options

Phillip Lindsay, Broncos

The Broncos split touches a little more evenly last week against the Falcons and now they get a great matchup with the Raiders weak run defense. Lindsay doesn’t get enough touches to feel great about him, but he has shown enough upside to feel good about him in this matchup. Las Vegas ranks fourth-worst in fantasy points allowed to running backs and have allowed 4.71 yards per rushing attempt.

Antonio Gibson, Washington

Gibson isn’t getting the receptions we’d like, as J.D. McKissic has taken over that aspect of the offense for the running backs, but his matchup this week should be more productive than last. The Lions are allowing over five-yards per carry and the team will want to establish the run with Alex Smith in at quarterback.
