The 2020 NBA Draft is set for November 18th after the longest season in League history. The order for the first and second round is set and we already know that the Minnesota Timberwolves will be selecting No. 1 overall after winning the NBA Draft Lottery back in August. Some of the top prospects who could be selected high in the draft include SG Anthony Edwards, G LaMelo Ball and C James Wiseman, among others.
Are the Miami Heat a one-hit wonder or for real? That’ll be the big question for 2020-21. After advancing to the Finals and losing in six games to the Lakers, we either witnessed a team get hot or a team that is ready to emerge as perennial title contenders. Was it the will of Jimmy Butler or a team coming together or the 3-and-D mentality that made the Heat so dangerous this past postseason? Miami is only going to get more and more dangerous. Will the Heat find another hidden gem at No. 20 like they did with Tyler Herro? Sorry, this was mostly questions without answers.
Here, we’ll be going over all the draft picks for the Miami Heat in the first and second rounds.
First Round: No. 20
Second Round: No. 50 (traded to BOS; ATL owns rights)
