Gameday update: After being held in check last week by the Seahawks’ defense, Bills running backs Zack Moss and Devin Singletary have a favorable matchup on Sunday against the Cardinals. This season, Arizona’s defense is only giving up a league’s-best five rushing touchdowns, but allowing 126.1 yards per game. ESPN projects Moss and Singletary to score 6.9 and 6.8 fantasy points, respectively.

We are finally starting to get a cleared picture of the pecking order in the Buffalo Bills backfield. While there was a time when Devin Singletary and Zach Moss both merited some fantasy football consideration, Moss has earned an edge over his teammate, making him worth a spot in lineups this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills RBs Devin Singletary, Zack Moss

The Bills didn’t run much last week against the Seahawks. But when they did, Moss was their guy. He had nine rushes for 18 yards, compared to just two attempts for one yard for Singletary. The week before that they both had 14 carries in a game against the Patriots, and both players topped 80 yards, but Moss found the end zone twice.

The Cardinals area allowing an average of 4.3 yards per attempt to opposing running backs and almost 100 yards per game (for all running backs). So there’s reason for the Bills to do more running this week. Moss gets an edge in fantasy because of his lead in touches and the looks he’s getting inside the red zone.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Zach Moss. Sit Devin Singletary.
