Gameday update: Just like last week, rookie DeeJay Dallas will be the team’s RB1 when they play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Against the Buffalo Bills, Dallas had 31 rushing yards on seven carries and a touchdown. That performance was good for 9.9 fantasy points, which is solid for a rookie running back that we are still learning about. This week, he will be going up against a Rams’ defense that has been stingy, only allowing 14.5 fantasy points to opposing running backs. ESPN projects Dallas, Travis Homer to score 6.5 and 6.6 fantasy points.
Saturday update: The Seahawks downgraded Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde to OUT and activated running back Alex Collins from the practice squad. DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer will split the workload.
Final injury report update: The Seahawks released their final injury report and have listed Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde as questionable. They would appear to be game-time decisions.
The Seattle Seahawks do most of their damage on offense passing the ball but also depend on the running backs to chip in when they can. Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde are both unlikely to play in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams because of injuries. DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer could see a spike in usage if the top two options aren’t available. It’s worth noting Homer was downgraded from full on Wednesday to limited on Thursday, which will be something to track.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seattle RBs DeeJay Dallas, Travis Homer
Dallas has been a stud over the last two weeks. He run for 72 yards and two scores on 25 carries and caught seven passes for 25 yards and a score in his last two outings. He might not act as a true workhorse but will likely get more touches than Homer. Homer has gotten a carry in every game this season but has only amassed 25 total. He has 88 rushing yards and had a season-high 64 receiving yards in Week 9. Dallas is the preferred option, but Homer will relieve him at times.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Dallas’s heavier workload makes him a better option than Homer.
