In a welterweight bout on the main card of UFC Vegas 14, Abdul Alhassan will fight Khaos Williams Saturday in Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.
The 35-year-old Alhassan is walking into the octagon with a professional fighting record of 10-2. His last fight happened in July at UFC on ESPN 13, where he lost by unanimous decision to Mounir Lazzez.
Alhassan’s last win came in Sept. 2018 at UFC on ESPN 13. He defeated Niko Price by knockout in just 43 seconds for his second win during that calendar year.
“Judo Thunder” Alhassan is a powerful striker as all of his TKOs have come using punches. He lands 4.54 strikes per minute with a 48 percent striking accuracy. However Alhassan absorbs a lot of strikes per minute at 5.05, with his defense is at 53 percent. As for grappling, he has a takedown average per 15 of 0.73 and 28 percent takedown accuracy.
Williams is coming into the UFC APEX with a professional fighting record of 10-1. The 26-year-old from Lansing, MI, made his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC 247 in February. Williams quickly defeated Alex Morono in Round 1 by knockout using punches.
Over the last three years, “Khaos the Ox Fighter” toured the MMA circuit, competing at WXC (Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting), Beijing Combat, TWC (Total Warrior Combat), KOTC (King Of The Cage), and KOP (Knockout Promotions).
