In the women’s strawweight bout on the main card of UFC Vegas 14, Kay Hansen will take on Cory McKenna Saturday in Las Vegas, live from the UFC Apex facility and available on ESPN+.

The 21-year-old Hansen is heading into this weekend’s match with a professional fighting record of 7-3. This is her second UFC fight in 2020 and of her career, having last fought in June where she earned a Round 3 submission win over Jinh Yu Frey using an armbar.

Before she made her UFC debut this year, Hansen competed at Invicta FC and CCW (California Cage Wars) over the last three years. The 21-year-old lands 2.49 strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 56 percent. She also absorbs 2.09 strikes per minute and defends at 43 percent. When it comes to grappling, Hansen has a 2.41 takedown average per 15 with an accuracy of 18 percent.

McKenna is coming into the UFC APEX with a professional fighting record of 5-1. The 21-year-old will be fighting in her first-ever UFC contest. “The Hobbit” McKenna last fought at Dana White’s Contender Series in August, where she defeated Crystal Vanessa Demopoulos by unanimous decision.

Just like Hansen, McKenna started her fighting career on the minor league circuit, competing at Cage Warriors Fighting Championships. In her DWCS appearance she racked up 3.13 strikes landed per minute with a 49 percent striking accuracy. But unlike Hansen, she absorbed fewer strikes at 1.60 per minute and defends at a 58 percent clip.
