The 30-year-old Morono is walking into the octagon with a professional fighting record of 17-6 (1 NC). His last fight took place at UFC 247 in February, where Morono lost to Khaos Williams in Round 1 by knockout. His last win came in October of 2019 at UFC Fight Night 161, defeating Max Griffin by unanimous decision for his second victory of 2020.
“The Great White” is a striker at heart as five of his wins have been TKOs/KOs using punches. He lands 4.42 strikes per minute, with a 39 percent striking accuracy. Morono absorbs a significant amount of strikes per minute at 3.10, with his defense is at 61 percent.
McKee is coming into the APEX with a professional fighting record of 10-3-1. The 25-year-old from Northern Ireland made his UFC debut this year at UFC on ESPN 14 in July. “Skeletor” McKee lost to phenom Khamzat Chimaev in Round 1 by TKO via punches.
Over the last five years, McKee has fought at CW (Cage Warriors), BAMMA in London, and TFC (Total Full Contact). Before making the jump to UFC, “Skeletor” won three consecutive matches at CW, including two by TKO.
