Gameday Update — Bryan Edwards is set to play for the first time since Week 3, and the rookie could take snaps from Renfrow and Agholor. Agholor played more snaps than Ruggs in Week 9, so it appears like Renfrow could be the odd man out.
The Raiders don’t throw the ball a lot, which can be frustrating to fantasy owners looking to their top three wide receivers for points. Despite that, there is some decent fantasy potential this week as they take on the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs II, Nelson Agholor, Hunter Renfrow
Agholor has had something of a career rejuvenation with the Raiders. His five receiving touchdowns lead the team. Last week against the Chargers, he had 55 yards and a score, despite being targeted just three times. Renfrow led this group with 60 yards, two catches on three targets, in their Week 9 game. Ruggs caught nothing despite being targeted three times.
Agholor has the most potential for decent fantasy stats among this group, especially given his propensity to score. It’s worth adding that the Broncos have allowed six touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in their last three games. Renfrow gets a steady number of targets each week, but his overall stat totals are still middle of the road. He’s a decent option this week in PPR formats. Ruggs can be avoided.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow. Sit Henry Ruggs III.
