UPDATE: The Bengals have downgraded Mixon to OUT for Week 10. Gio Bernard it is.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is officially listed as doubtful on the Week 10 injury report. He is dealing with a foot injury. Despite the designation leaving the team a little wiggle room, he is not going to play. He did not practice at all this week, which coming out of a bye is not good.

Fantasy impact: Joe Mixon (foot injury)

With Mixon out of action, the Bengals will lean on Giovani Bernard to handle the bulk of the workload out of the backfield. Bernard has done well in relief of Mixon, who will be missing his second game. Bernard scored a rushing and a receiving touchdown in the team’s last game, racking up 62 yards on 15 carries and 16 yards on three catches.

Samaje Perine will get some work in an auxiliary role, but his fantasy impact is likely to be minimal. Bernard is your best bet for fantasy production in this game, even against the Steelers.
