The Chicago Bears will be without running back David Montgomery for the Week 10 Monday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings. Montgomery is still dealing with a concussion. He suffered the injury in Chicago’s last game, leaving early and not returning.
Fantasy impact: David Montgomery (concussion)
Montgomery had 14 touches and 30 yards to go with three receptions for another 12 yards before leaving last week’s game. Without Montgomery the Bears will turn to a platoon of Ryan Nall and Cordarrelle Patterson.
Last week without Montgomery, Nall caught four passes, but did not have a rushing attempt. Patterson had three carries and four catches. Another factor that could complicate the backfield for the Bears is the presence of Lamar Miller. He is currently on the practice squad, but could get a promotion this week with Montgomery out of action. Whatever combination of backs the Bears roll with this week, you can leave them off your roster.
