There is nothing about Teddy Bridgewater’s style of play with the Carolina Panthers this year that makes him exciting to watch. You have to really like dink and dunk passing, but it is hard to argue that it hasn’t been effective, even for fantasy football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater
Bridgewater threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. That was the fourth time this season he’s thrown more than one touchdown pass in a game. He also added a rushing score to bolster his fantasy production in that outing. His completion percentage on the season is approaching 72 percent, which would be a career high for him.
This week the Panthers get the Buccaneers, which haven’t been the easiest opponent for quarterbacks. However, Tampa Bay has allowed QBs to throw multiple touchdown passes in each of the last three games, which includes the likes of Daniel Jones. And if Jones can do it, so can Teddy Bridgewater.
