The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had their three-game winning streak snapped by the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. None of Tom Brady’s top targets seemed to perform well in the matchup and Rob Gronkowski saw his three-game stretch with at least one touchdowns come to a close. Let’s evaluate the Buccaneers’ tight end situation ahead of Week 10.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate
Gronkowski has benefited from O.J. Howard’s season-ending Achilles injury and is now a top 15 tight end after getting off to a slow start in 2020. He only tallied one catch for two yards in his last game but matched Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Leonard Fournette with a team-high six targets. His exposure and recent success makes him a much better option than Brate, who hasn’t played more than 12 snaps in three weeks.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Gronk has been too involved lately to fade after one bad game. Start him and sit Brate.
