There is nothing pretty about the way Derek Carr plays football. But that’s not to say it’s bad. He’s an efficient passer, more than just a game manager, who doesn’t turn the ball over and keeps his team competitive. He’s the kind of player who’s been a steady presence in fantasy football lineups this season too.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders QB Derek Carr
Carr’s topped 300 passing yards just twice this season, and he hasn’t even thrown more than 200 over his last two games. Last week against the Chargers, he threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns. He’s had multiple touchdowns in six of his eight games this season, with a total of 16 on the year. But he’s only been intercepted twice all year.
Carr is unlikely to stand out on the stat sheet this week against the Broncos. But he has the chance to have another solid day. Denver has allowed seven passing touchdowns in its last three games.
