The NFC East has turned into a wasteland this season. Just how bad is it? Well, the Philadelphia Eagles are cruising toward a division title with a 3-4-1 record. Needless to say, the division has been mostly barren of reliable fantasy football performers, and that includes Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. But what about this week against the Giants, could he rebound?
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles QB Carson Wentz
It’s hard to tell the difference between Wentz and Daniel Jones—Wentz is the one with red hair—thanks to Wentz’s proclivity for turnovers this season. He threw two interceptions and lost a fumble last week against Dallas. He’s got the same amount of multi-pick games as he does games with multiple touchdowns.
But he did have a pretty decent outing, for fantasy at least, in his last game against the Giants, two weeks ago. He threw a pair of touchdown passes, and one interception, while adding another rushing score in that one.
On paper, this looks like a decent opportunity for Wentz, and he’s coming out of a bye week where maybe he had some time to fix some of his struggles. But he’s just too risky right now. You can find better options at QB this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Carson Wentz.
