A 38-3 victory is always enjoyable for the fans, but it’s not always a fun experience for fantasy managers. For those who have Alvin Kamara, the let down was very real in Week 9 against the Bucs. Should we expect a similar outcome for the stud running back in Week 10? And is there a path to success for Latavius Murray?
Fantasy Football analysis: Saints RBs Alvin Kamara, Latavius Murray
Regardless of his season-low 15.90-DKFP performance, Kamara was still the week’s sixth-best fantasy running back. It was an underwhelming week for RBs outside of Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffrey, but Alvin will likely make his way back up into that tier soon. Unfortunately, he’ll have a tougher path this week as the Saints take on the well-rested (though still injured) 49ers. Both teams prefer to run the ball, which projects for a slower-paced game, which typically leads to fewer available fantasy points to go around. We probably won’t get a season-high game from Kamara this week, but 20-30 DKFP is always in his projected range. As for Latavius Murray, he’ll need to steal a touchdown in order to be relevant this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Kamara. Sit Murray.
