The New York Giants’ Evan Engram has been a big let down for most of the season after entering 2020 as one of the tight ends who seemed most likely to have a breakout year. He’s been affected negatively by his team’s stagnant passing attack
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants TE Evan Engram
Despite the struggles, his own as well as his team’s, Engram has still seen 29 targets over the last three games. It represents an uptick in his work from earlier this season. Last week against Washington, he caught five passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. The week before that he caught five passes on 10 targets for a season-high 61 yards. Engram’s not a good tight end, per se, and he’s not going to live up to the breakout hype, but his role in this offense and the fact that the tight end position is across the board pretty bad this year is enough to make him a decent fantasy football option.
Engram had six catches on nine targets for 46 yards the last time the Giants and Eagles met, back in Week 7. The Eagles have allowed six touchdowns to tight ends this season.
