The tight end position is suffering enough when it comes to fantasy football production this season. So it’s especially frustrating to have to parse a time share situation at the position like we do with the Los Angles Rams.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TEs Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee
Higbee missed the Rams’ game in Week 7, but he was back in action in their last outing, a Week 8 loss to Miami. He had two catches on four targets for just 14 yards. His production has faded since a Week 2 game that saw him score three times.
Everett has been the preferred option among the Rams tight ends. In his last game, he had nine targets, catching five passes for 32 yards. The week before that, without Higbee, he had four catches on five targets for 28 yards and a touchdown.
Neither player puts up big numbers. But Everett’s edge in targets makes him a better option than his teammate for fantasy purposes. Seattle has allowed tight ends to score in each of their last two games, so Everett is a decent play this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Gerald Everett. Sit Tyler Higbee.
