Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook might not be a serious contender for the NFL’s actual Most Valuable Player award, but he is almost certain to take home some hardware as fantasy football’s MVP, if only such an award existed. After two weeks of destroying opposing defenses, he does face a tougher challenge this week against the Bears.
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings RBs Dalvin Cook, Alexander Mattison
Cook’s last two games have been an incredible feat. He’s scored six touchdowns during that span, five rushing and one receiving. He also has 369 rushing yards and 109 receiving yards in that two-week stretch. In fact, Cook has now scored in every single game he’s played this season, and he has multiple touchdowns in four of his seven games.
The Bears defense has been pretty good against the run, but they have allowed opposing running backs to find the end zone six times this season. If it were anyone else besides Cook, this would be an intimidating matchup. Sure, he may not produce the kind of numbers he did against the Lions and Packers, but he’s just too good leave on your bench.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Always start Dalvin Cook.
