How to handle Kenyan Drake injury in Week 10 fantasy football

Kenyan Drake is on the Cardinals final injury report for Week 10. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Drake is ACTIVE for Week 10.

Game day update: Drake is “planning to play” in Week 10, but it sounds like pre-game warmups will determine how heavy a workload he gets, per Ian Rapoport.

The Arizona Cardinals will be making a game-time decision on running back Kenyan Drake this week ahead of their game against the Buffalo Bills. Drake has an ankle injury that kept him out of action last week. Needless to say, it’s a frustrating situation for fantasy football, especially since this is a great matchup for Arizona’s running backs.

Fantasy impact: Kenyan Drake (ankle injury)

Drake had just 34 yards on 14 carries in his last game, against Seattle, back in Week 7. But the week before that, he played his best game of the season with 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 20 carries.

If Drake can’t play, Chase Edmunds would be a great play this week. The Bills have allowed running backs to score in every game but one this season. If Drake does play, both he and Edmunds would still have some fantasy value given the matchup. Complicating the situation further is the fact that this is a late afternoon game on Sunday.
