How to handle Robert Tonyan injury in Week 10 fantasy football

Robert Tonyan is on the Packers final injury report for Week 10. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Tonyan is ACTIVE for Week 10. Ryan Wood is reporting Tonyan will split snaps with Marcedes Lewis.

Green Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan is one of seven players on the team listed as questionable on the official injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tonyan suffered an ankle injury during Thursday’s practice, and he missed Friday’s session entirely.

Fantasy impact: Robert Tonyan (ankle injury)

A mid-week injury and a missed practice session on Friday are not a good sign for Tonyan’s availability this week. If he does miss this one, it would be the first game this season he has missed.

Tonyan didn’t have much to do last week against the 49ers, catching just one pass for five yards. He hasn’t found the end zone since his three-touchdown effort against the Falcons back in Week 4.

If Tonyan can’t play, Marcedes Lewis and Jace Sternberger would handle the work at the tight end spot. Sternberger had three catches on four targets two weeks ago, and could be worth a look this week.
