The 12th ranked Miami Hurricanes are rescheduling two of their games and it is requiring the ACC reschedule four other games to fit in the remaining conference schedule. The football team has had a number of positive Covid-19 tests requiring extensive quarantining of the team.

The positive tests require rescheduling their November 21st game against Georgia Tech and their November 28th game against Wake Forest. Here is what the new schedule looks like, courtesy of the ACC.

Saturday, Nov. 28

Wake Forest at Louisville (previously scheduled for Saturday, December 5)

Saturday, Dec. 5

Miami at Wake Forest (previously scheduled for Saturday, November 28)
Western Carolina at North Carolina (previously scheduled for Friday, December 11)

Saturday, Dec. 12

Louisville at Boston College (previously scheduled for Friday, November 27)
North Carolina at Miami (previously scheduled for Saturday, December 5)

Saturday, Dec. 19

Georgia Tech at Miami (previously scheduled for Saturday, November 21)

The Georgia Tech game will be played if Miami is not in the ACC Championship Game and if the result of the Georgia Tech at Miami game would not directly impact the determination of which two teams play in the ACC Championship.

With Miami the #3 team in the ACC at 6-1 in the league, they’ll need either Clemson or Notre Dame to lose one of their last two games to advance to Charlotte for the title. Otherwise they’ll likely pave a pretty poor Georgia Tech team that seems destined to finish in the bottom third of the standings.
