The Dallas Cowboys returned from their bye week and welcomed quarterback Andy Dalton back to the practice field, per Jon Machota. Dalton suffered a concussion in Week 7 and then was placed on the Covid-19 injured reserve list in Week 9.

Dalton reportedly was suffering some symptoms, but it was never clear exactly how much Covid-19 was impacting him. That being said, his return to practice on Monday means he is no longer required to quarantine. He will need to continue testing negative, but assuming he is also out of the concussion protocol, he is on track to start the team’s Week 11 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Ben DiNucci and Garrett Gilbert got opportunities in place of Dalton and both struggled. Gilbert completed 55.3 percent of his passes for 243 yards and had one touchdown and one interception in Week 9. DiNucci has appeared in three games and completed 53.5 percent of his passes for 219 yards.
