Final injury report
The great majority of injuries significant for fantasy managers, like Joe Mixon, Christian McCaffrey and D’Andre Swift, have already been ruled out for Week 11. Damien Harris will be the name to monitor closely, though it’s worth noting that he was on the injury report last week prior to posting 121 rushing yards against the Ravens. He should be ready to roll, but if he’s not, Rex Burkhead could be a top-end flex.
Out: Dwayne Washington (back), Joe Mixon (foot), D’Andre Swift (concussion), Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Tyler Ervin (wrist, ribs), Trey Edmunds (hamstring), Jaylen Samuels (quadricep)
Doubtful: N/A
Questionable: Jalen Richard (chest), Damien Harris (ankle, chest), Cullen Gillaspia (back)
Thursday injury report
Alvin Kamara was downgraded from a limited practice session on Wednesday to the DNP tag. It’s a step in the wrong direction
DNP: Dwayne Washington (back), D’Andre Swift (concussion), Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Duke Johnson (illness), Trey Edmunds (hamstring), Jaylen Samuels (quadricep), Alvin Kamara (foot)
Limited: Alec Ingold (ribs), Devine Ozigbo (hamstring), James Robinson (shoulder), Damien Harris (ankle, chest)
Full: Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring), Mike Davis (thumb), Matt Breida (hamstring), Anthony McFarland (illness), Senorise Perry (knee)
Wednesday injury report
Christian McCaffrey has officially been ruled out for Week 11, so Mike Davis will get the start once again.
Duke Johnson did not practice Wednesday due to an illness (not COVID-19). With David Johnson on Injured reserve with a concussion, CJ Prosise is next up on the depth chart.
Alvin Kamara got in a limited session Wednesday, listed with a foot injury. He’s been dealing with this nagging injury for a couple of weeks but has yet to miss a game. Look for Kamara to get in a full practice on Thursday.
This is a new one — Jaguars RB James Robinson was listed as a limited practice participant with a shoulder injury. It’s probably just a maintenance day for the rookie, who’s averaging 20.4 touches per game.
Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring) got in a full practice after being listed as questionable for the Cowboys matchup in Week 10. Mike Davis and Matt Breida also got in full practices. Davis’ availability was never really in question, though Breida’s full participation is something worth noting. The Dolphins cut Jordan Howard this week, an indication that we should expect Breida to suit up on Sunday.
DNP: Dwayne Washington (back), Joe Mixon (foot), Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), Jalen Richard (chest), Duke Johnson (illness), Trey Edmunds (hamstring), Jaylen Samuels (quadricep),
Limited: Alvin Kamara (foot), Alec Ingold (ribs), Devine Ozigbo (hamstring), James Robinson (shoulder), Damien Harris (ankle, chest)
Full: Ezekiel Elliott (hamstring), Mike Davis (thumb), Matt Breida (hamstring), Anthony McFarland (illness), Senorise Perry (knee)
Another week, another wild list of names with outstanding fantasy performances. Week 10 was a wild ride, with top-end names like Alvin Kamara, Josh Jacobs and Nick Chubb leading the pack.
Not too far behind were names like Colts back Nyheim Hines, who posted another multi-touchdown performance to squash the hopes of a Jonathan Taylor breakout. With that, it became abundantly clear that Taylor is not a viable weekly start in fantasy lineups.
Bucs RB Ronald Jones broke a 98-yard run, as the Bucs were backed up in their own end zone, posting the third-longest run in NFL history. His final line on the day was 192 rushing yards and a score.
Injury news
Christian McCaffrey missed this week with a shoulder injury after his big Week 9 performance. He appears doubtful heading into Week 11 as well, though this could be good news for fantasy managers who hope to see him healthy for the post-season.
Bengals RB Joe Mixon still has yet to return from a foot sprain that has held him out since Week 6.
Breaking news: a 49ers running back was injured in Sunday’s contest, It’s never time to make light of an injury, but holey smokes; how much can one franchise take? JaMycal Hasty is out for the season with a broken collar bone suffered Sunday against the Seahawks. The good news is that the team gets a bye week and should prepare to see RB Raheem Mostert on the return.
Managers saw a couple of big names return to the active lineup this week, including Kenyan Drake and Nick Chubb. They each saw 16 or more touches and posted 100 rushing yard performances.
Managers should keep an eye on the Seahawks backfield, as Chris Carson (foot) and Carlos Hyde (hamstring) work to return to the field. They’re on a short week considering the team’s matchup with the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football, but each returned to practice — a good sign they could be set for a return.
Bye weeks
The 49ers, Giants, Bears and Bills will be on a bye in Week 11. Fantasy managers will be without Jerick McKinnon, Wayne Gallman, David Montgomery and Bills RBs, Devin Singletary and Zack Moss. It’s a relatively light bye week, as none of these backs are likely the backbone of any fantasy roster.

Mike Davis, Carolina Panthers
Davis certainly stung fantasy managers in Week 10 after posting just 42 scoreless yards against the Bucs. However, we’ll forgive him considering the matchup. The Lions will be the perfect cure for the burn, as they’re currently allowing a league-high average of 1.4 rushing touchdowns per game to fantasy RBs. Teddy Bridgewater is dealing with a knee injury that could leave him out of the active lineup, so it’s possible we see a Panthers game plan leaning more heavily on the run this week.
Rex Burkhead, New England Patriots
Patriots RB Damien Harris has received most of the love in recent weeks, however, Rex Burkhead is the man who’s been in constant search of the end zone. Burkhead has seen at least ten touches in each of the team’s last two games, managing three touchdowns that span. The run game is vibing for the Patriots, and now, they’ll face the Texans, who just allowed both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt 100+ rushing yards on the ground in Week 10. Burkhead has a nice chance at a touchdown against this porous defense giving up an average 190.5 rushing yards and 1.2 rushing scores per game to the RB position.
