Woj stops national TV interview to take a call, and no one minds because he’s Woj and it’s the Draft

When you’re the GOAT of breaking news, basic cable waits for you.

Reporter Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports on the game of the Miami Heat against the Boston Celtics in Game three of the Eastern Conference Finals of the 2020 Playoffs as part of the NBA Restart 2020 on September 19, 2020 at AdventHealth Arena at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. It’s the NBA Draft, and Woj vs. Shams is in full effect. And when you’re the GOAT of breaking news of #ThisLeague, time stops for you when a front office or agent calls you.

And that’s exactly what Adrian Wojnarowski did live on SportsCenter tonight, ending an interview with anchor Kevin Neghandi to get the latest scoop from someone about something.

WOJ DOES NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR NICETIES SO THROW IT TO WHOMEVER, KEVIN. NOW.

Neghandi handled it like the true Philadelphian he is: Temple Tuff. He just rolled with the punches, honored to be in the graces of a man that we’re putting the over/under on having 4.5 cell phones working today. Imagine being the AT&T sales person when Woj or Adam Schefter walks in looking for new equipment or an extended data plan. It must be like Christmas morning.

And notice how fast the IFB came out of Woj’s ear, which makes sense considering it’s not plugged directly into an NBA front office but merely the unimportant SportsCenter anchors. Where’s the Joe Dumars Hotline when Woj needs it? Not on the other end of that custom-fit earpiece. Therefore it must be done away with immediately.

We now wait for our fearless leader to drop his bombs on Twitter whenever he is good and ready. It is Woj Day. Hit refresh and feel blessed you’re allowed be a part of it.
