Someone in LaMelo Ball’s crew throws shade at WNBA owner Senator Kelly Loeffler

She’s running to keep her United States Senate seat, but her opponent is getting the love via the mask in Ball’s entourage.

LaMelo Ball is projected to be one of the top three picks in the NBA Draft. His, um, boisterous father Lavar is sitting next to him as they wait to find out where LaMelo will begin his NBA career.

But someone in his crew isn’t afraid to make a basketball statement. Senator Kelly Loeffler is a part-owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, and she’s running for re-election in what is likely going to be one of the two most expensive Senate races in US history against Reverend Raphael Warnock.

But someone in that crew isn’t afraid to make a statement, wearing a “Vote Warnock” mask on the far left of the picture from SB Nation’s Whitney Medworth below.

So much for the family of the NBA!

Loeffler has spoken out extensively against the Black Lives Matter movement as well as taking other positions that don’t align politically with the values of the mostly-progressive league. But for one new player to the NBA, it doesn’t seem he’s on board with the Dream’s owner either.
